The City of Warrensburg provides a full range of services to its citizens including fire, police, wastewater pollution control, planning and development, street maintenance, parks and recreation, an animal shelter and the maintenance and operation of Sunset Hill Cemetery.

The City of Warrensburg’s Human Resources Department manages its classification and compensation program, and facilitates training, recruitment and retention.  It also handles employment relations, EEO and serves as the custodian of personnel records and serves as the plan administrator for employee benefits.

Classification and Pay Structure

A comprehensive classification and pay schedule has been in place since May, 1996 to help the City become and remain competitive in the marketplace and to insure that employees are fairly and equitably compensated.

RISK MANAGEMENT

The Human Resources Department is also responsible for identifying, evaluating and effectively minimizing loss exposures to the City while providing optimum risk management services to the City’s citizens and its employees through the centralized administration of safety, loss control measures and other risk management activities.

Risk Management administers all insurance claims for the City including workers compensation, unemployment, property, general liability, automobile, boiler & machinery type losses, and also maintains employee dishonesty bonds on its employees.
