City of Warrensburg Blood Drives Receive Recognition

WARRENSBURG, MO (April 9, 2015) –The City of Warrensburg Police and Fire Blood Drives were recognized for being the top donor organization for  Community Sponsored Blood drives in 2014 at the Community Blood Center’s Blood Drive Recognition Luncheon. The event was held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 in Kansas City, MO.  Tom Carey, Chairman of the City of Warrensburg Police and Fire Blood Drive, accepted the award.  “We would like to thank all those that have participated in the Police and Fire Blood Drives that led to this award” stated Tom Carey, Warrensburg Police Department.

Also receiving awards at the event from Johnson County were the University of Central Missouri for being the top University Sponsored Blood Drive and Whiteman Air Force Base for being the top Government Sponsored Blood Drive

The next City of Warrensburg Police and Fire Blood Drive is scheduled for April 24, 2015 from 10am-6pm.  It will be held at the Warrensburg Community Center located at 445 E.
