I began working for the City of Warrensburg in 1979 part-time. A year later, I worked for City Collector Carolee Cortner and was appointed to that position when she retired. I was later appointed City Clerk after Nancy Anderson retired in 2004.
I moved to Warrensburg with my parents in 1964. I graduated from Central Missouri State University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree in English and a minor in Journalism. I have two daughters, Gina Jolly, who works for the Division of Finance in Jefferson City. She and her husband are the parents of my two granchildren, Carissa and Drew. My other daughter, Ali, works as a lobbyist for E-Bay in Washington, D.C.
I enjoy my work with the City. I have had an opportunity to meet many of the wonderful people of Warrensburg and see how our government operates and the changes that have taken place over the years. The members of the Warrensburg City Council are dedicated and sincere people who spend much of their time making our government run smoothly and efficiently. We have seen tremendous progress which will continue in the years ahead.
