    A  Message From The Chief:

    Welcome to the Warrensburg Police Department’s web page. Our community is growing and the need to provide excellent police services continue to be a top priority with our Department. 

    The continued positive support we receive from our citizens is awesome.  Our voters extended the ½ cent sales tax in February 2007 so we can provide better City services in Public Works, Fire Department and the Police Department.  The Police Department’s share of this will be the construction of a new 23,000 square foot building that will be located to the West of City Hall.  Our current building has met our needs for the past 30 years, but we have outgrown it by 300 percent.  Our new building will meet our current space needs, 10 year growth needs and provide an expansion plan for the future.   It will be a user friendly facility that will include ample storage space as well as security features necessary for the 21st century.  We are hoping to break ground late Fall 2007 and move in early 2009.
