The COPS program has been in operation since 1992.  Great strides in police/community relations have been realized especially in the areas of trailer parks, multiple family dwellings, the Warrensburg R-6 Schools and the Warrensburg Community Center.

The COPS program was expanded in 1994 by the addition of a School Resource Officer working in our schools.  In November of 1999, the COPS program was expanded again adding a second School Resource Officer in our schools.

Corporal Tom Carey is the COPS coordinator for non-school services.

Corporal Tim Dorman and Corporal Tal Moses are the School Resource Officers
