On August 14, 2008 Warrensburg Police received a report of a ladies ring valued at $7,750 being stolen from a resident at the Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg. Warrensburg Police investigated this case and on August 25, 2008 they arrested Sheli D. Church, age 36, of Warrensburg for stealing the ring. The ring that was reported stolen was recovered by Warrensburg Police. On August 26, 2008 the Johnson County Prosecutor filed a charge of felony stealing against Sheli D. Church in connection with this case. A warrant was issued for Church on this charge and bond was set at $4500.
