CPR/First Aid Classes
Warrensburg Parks and Recreation will hold CPR/First Aid Classes on March 6 and April 24 from 9:00 am-5:00 pm. The course includes instruction and hands-on techniques. Students will learn how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies. They will also receive instruction on basic first aid. Deadline to register is one week prior to the class. Sports of All Sorts
Warrensburg Parks & Recreation is offering Sports of All Sorts for ages 3-6 years. This exciting class is just what you need to introduce your child to the world of sports! We’ll play a different sport each week including: soccer, t-ball, basketball, tennis and more! Basic skills of each sport will be given and we’ll play a fun game at the end. Early Bird Fee is $32 if registered by March 12; $42 if register March 12-March 22. Registration deadline is March 22. WPR Youth Scholarship FUNd is available. Space is limited so register early! Adult Learn to Swim Lessons
Warrensburg Parks & Recreation announces upcoming Adult Learn to Swim sessions. Beginning Adult Learn to Swim sessions are as follows: March 15-May 3; May 10-July 5; and July 12-August 30. They will be held on Mondays from 5:30 pm-6:15 pm. Intermediate Adult Learn to Swim sessions are as follows: March 17-May 5; May 12-June 30; and July 7-August 25. They will be held on Wednesdays from 5:30 pm-6:15 pm. Beginning level is designed for adults with little or no water experience. Intermediate is designed for adults with an understanding of the basic skills of swimming who want to further develop these skills. Fee for each level is $40.00. Private Swim Lessons
Private swim lessons are a great way for swimmers to have one-on-one instruction to calm intense water fear, improve stroke, and learn the basics and more!
