Parks & Recreation Part-Time Employment

**Recreation Leader	Assists with programs and special events. Helps set up, lead activities, etc. $6.75 per hour

**Recreation Aide	Front desk clerk, answers phones, takes program registration, helps with room set up, etc. $7.00 per hour

**Lifeguard	(Year Round or Summer Position) Must be American Red Cross certified. Contact Lisa Dyer for certification information. $7.00 per hour

**Aquatic Instructors	Swim Lesson Instructor, Swim Team Coaches, Synchronized Swim Instructors (Water Ballet). Wages vary.

**Field/Gym Supervisors	Sets out bases, make sure officials & scorekeepers show, supervise park/gym during games, etc. (Now hiring soccer and baseball). Must be certified in CPR & First Aid - will provide certification. $7.00 per hour

**Child Care Workers	Responsible for children ages 0 to 10. Morning and evening hours available. Must be certified in CPR & First Aid. $6.50 per hour

**Sports Instructors	Position includes working with youth on fundamentals of soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis, baseball, etc. Now hiring volleyball, baseball and tennis. Must be certified in CPR & First Aid. $7.00 per hour

**Concession Workers	Attend concession stand - evening positiion with some weekends. $6.50 per hour.

**Concession Coordinator	Supervisors, stocks and maintains four concession stands. $8.00 per hour.

**Summer Day Camp Staff for 2007	A variety of positions! Unit Leaders. Responsible for planning summer of fun for children ages 5 to 12 years. Open until filled. Click here for more details.

**Class Instructors	Teaches youth or adult classes that are geared to the instructor's specialization. Wage based on percentage. Schedule is suited to instructor!! Now hiring for Fall & Winter Programs! Specifically need kid's crafts and activities, adult arts & crafts, photography, country dance, tai chi, etc.

Aerobics Instructor	Must be certified. $10 per hour

**Custodians	Cleaning of buildings, set up of rooms, etc. $7.10 per hour

**Home School PE Staff	Home School PE program. Program is on Thursday mornings. Wage is $7.00 per hour.

Personal Trainers	Must be certified. Wage is $16.00 per hour.

**Fitness Staff	Must be fitness oriented with teaching skills. Certification preferred. Teaches workshops on how to use fitness equipment in center and supervises use of fitness facility. Must be CPR/FA certified - will provide certification. $6.75 hour

**Recreation Interns	Gain experience with all areas of WPR! For more information see Intern Packet. Wage Varies.

**Part-Time Maintenance	Mowing, weed eating, park clean-up, field prep, etc. Average 30 hours per week. $7.25 - $9.25 per hour.
