Steve Haller Disposal
Offers curbside recycling of paper, plastic 1 & 2, aluminum and tin to its
customers for $3/month. A drop-off center is offered at no cost to the indicidual at
the Show-Me Landfill. M-F 8-5, Sat. 8-11 a.m.
The City of Warrensburg is dedicated to looking for ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle items in the course of providing quality services and programs for the residents of Warrensburg.
REDUCE
The
gray linen paper used for the City's stationary is made of 50% recycled fiber
including a minimum of 20% post-consumer waste.
REUSE
Street
Department processes tree limbs into mulch that is made available to the public.
Sludge from the
Wastewater Treatment Plant is applied to agricultural land.
Concrete
aggregate from the streets is used for erosion control on Public Works' construction sites.
Roto-milled
asphalt from street is used to overlay alleys.
Shredded tires
are used as crack fill material on streets.
