2018 Street Maintenance Resurfacing Program Update

CITY OF WARRENSBURG

 PRESS RELEASE 

The Warrensburg Street Department would like to advise residents and visitors of the community that the 2018 Street Maintenance Resurfacing Program will begin Monday morning June 18, 2018, weather permitting. Hot Mix Overlay (installing new surface) will begin in Sunset Hill Cemetery and progress to the affected city streets following Roto-milling. Roto-milling (removing old surface) of affected city streets is to begin Monday morning June 18, 2018 and will be completed on Friday, June 22, 2018 weather permitting.

 Residents and businesses are being asked not to park vehicles on the affected streets Sunday through Saturday, June 17th through June 23rd, 2018 or until after the resurfacing process is completed. No Parking signs will be posted by the Street Department and vehicles may be towed at the owner’s expense. No Parking signs will be removed as soon as streets are complete and ready to be opened to traffic. The streets scheduled for resurfacing, in no particular order, are as follows:

 Anderson Street: Broad Street north to Montserrat Park Road.

East Clark Street: Mitchell Street east to Tyler Street.

Ridge Drive: Entrance to North End. The West Side of loop only.

Hillcrest Drive: Main Street east to Johnson Street. 

Courtland: Maguire west to College. 

Frontage Road: Enterprise west to Business 50.

PLEASE DO NOT WATER YOUR LAWN UNTIL THE RESURFACING WORK IS COMPLETED.
