Monday (9/17) at 6 am, Holden Street will be closed from West Pine Street to South Street for street milling. Milling will begin on both sides of the railroad track on Holden Street then move to the West Pine and Holden Street intersection. Once that is completed, the milling will move south, West Pine and Railroad Street will be reopened at that time. The milling will continue to South Street. Once milling is completed on Tuesday (9/18), the asphalt overlay will begin on Wednesday (9/19). Holden Street will be closed again on Wednesday and Thursday (9/19 and 9/20) from West Pine Street to South Street.
Once the asphalt is completed on Thursday (9/20), the striping process is scheduled for Friday and Saturday (9/20 and 9/21). If the contractor is unable to complete the striping on Friday and Saturday, the striping process will resume Tuesday and Wednesday (9/25 and 9/26) on the following week. During the striping process, only sections of Holden Street will be closed at a time as the striping progresses south on Holden Street.
