Request For Qualification

The City of Warrensburg desires to update its Web site to improve online customer service, increase e-government site functionality and simplify content management and administration for City staff, while meeting high standards for design quality and appeal.

The City of Warrensburg wishes to enter into a professional services agreement with a qualified vendor to design and implement a new City Web site utilizing the functionality of E-government allowing our citizens online services and payment options. This site will be required to be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and a robust and user friendly Content Management System (CMS) is required in order to decentralize the responsibility of updating web content to City staff in their respective departments.

Interested firms are asked to provide an outline or tentative scope of work that they would propose to complete the new City Web site to include CMS, E-government functionality, and ADA compliance. The scope will be reviewed by IT staff to assist in the evaluation of the level of services the Study will include. Statements of Qualifications and Interests should include experience in similar studies for other communities with references, an approximate schedule/timing of services, and identify key staff assigned to the project.

Firms interested in providing these services are requested to indicate their interest and provide a Statement of Qualifications and Interest by sending 5 copies to the Assistant Systems Administrator by 5:00pm on April 30, 2008.

Mail copies to: Terry Carr
Assistant Systems Administrator
City of Warrensburg, MO.
102 South Holden Street
Warrensburg, MO 64093

A selection committee will review the Request for Qualifications and Statements of Interest and will select up to five firms to provide an in depth proposal. The Committee will then select a firm to develop a complete scope of services and negotiate a fee. If an agreeable fee is not reached with the first firm the City may then repeat the process with the second rated firm until an agreement is reached.
